Resilience & Compassion in Care
We specialise in high-quality, nurse-led dementia awareness training at affordable prices.
We are changing hearts & minds to improve care quality and foster compassion and resilience.

About Us
Compassion for others starts with compassion for oneself.
This is why all our courses make sure carers learn how to care for themselves so they can better care for others.
Our many years working in dementia and learning disabilities care has also shown us that, as people with learning disabilities are growing older, the number of dementia cases are increasing.
The workforce and family carers need to be equipped to meet this challenge with confidence, compassion and skill. At Arraglen Training we bring the experience and know-how to prepare them.
We are the home of the BASELINE System, designed to help LD/IDD carers spot the early sign of dementia in people with autism and LD/IDD.
Our training programmes are fully aligned with the National Dementia Training Standards Framework (DTSF).
We focus on evidence‑based, person‑centred practice, covering the learning outcomes set out in the DTSF, across awareness, direct care, and leadership.
Organisations can be confident that Arraglen Training delivers high‑quality, nurse-led dementia education that meets national standards and supports compassionate, rights‑based care.
When staff feel supported and people living with dementia feel understood, services become safer, calmer and more compassionate for everyone.

Cheryl - L & D Manager
"The feedback from staff has been excellent. Niall clearly demonstrated both passion and in-depth knowledge around dementia, which came across strongly throughout the session. The delegates commented on how effectively he delivered the training in a way that supported knowledge retention. This has been a huge benefit to the attendees"
Ann - LD Support worker
"I found the course very enjoyable and informative. Niall has a wealth of experience working in the sector and caring for people with dementia, so it was brilliant to be on a course delivered by someone with so much knowledge and real life experiences that I could relate to in my work. Would highly recommend any carer to take this course"
Samira - Home Carer
What changes might you make to your practice in future?
"Entering my patients world and meeting them where they are. Taking time to breath and care for myself so I can give the best care I can."
